This Policy should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. It describes the current website configuration as at the date above. The technologies used on a particular page may vary according to the page, service, device, browser, login status and provider configuration.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website or service stores on, or reads from, your browser or device. Some remain only for the current browsing session, while others remain for a longer period so that a website can recognize the browser or remember a setting on a later visit.

4. Preference technologies

The current website also uses or loads technologies associated with Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and Snap Pixel. Depending on their configuration, these providers may receive information about page views, website interactions, referrals, device or browser characteristics, cookie identifiers, and cart, purchase or other conversion events.

These technologies may be used to measure campaign performance, understand whether an advertisement led to a website action, limit repeated advertising, build audiences or support advertising on external platforms. A provider may combine information received from Rumrom’s website with information it already holds, subject to its own policy and the visitor’s settings with that provider.

The use of measurement pixels is separate from customer-service communications. As stated in the Privacy Policy, Rumrom Bakery does not currently use customer contact details to send promotional or newsletter messages.

7. Cake customizer, payment and communication services

Kickflip cake customizer

The website uses Kickflip to provide interactive cake-design functions, previews and image uploads. When the customizer loads or you use it, Kickflip may use process, security, preference, statistical or other technologies to operate the service, preserve selections, prevent misuse, measure use and improve its service. The customizer may receive technical information and the design information you enter or upload. Further details about uploaded images are provided in the Privacy Policy.

KNET and payment services

When you proceed to KNET payment, the payment gateway, KNET and participating financial institutions may use session, security, fraud-prevention and transaction technologies on their own pages or within the payment flow. Their own notices govern those technologies.

Rumrom Bakery does not use cookies to ask for or store your KNET PIN, one-time password or other secret payment credential. Enter those credentials only in the authorized payment environment presented during checkout.

The website provides links that allow you to contact Rumrom Bakery through WhatsApp. Merely displaying a link does not necessarily mean that WhatsApp stores a cookie through rumrom.com. If you open the link or use WhatsApp, WhatsApp may use cookies, device identifiers and other technologies under its own terms and privacy practices.

8. Information that may be collected

Depending on the technology and your activity, Rumrom Bakery or a connected provider may collect or receive:

Exact cookie names and retention periods can change when WordPress, WooCommerce, plugins, provider scripts or website settings are updated. Third-party providers determine the duration of their own technologies.
